Terms of Service

By creating an account or playing Loophole in any form — browser, mobile client, or any future platform — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are accessing Loophole on behalf of a minor, you accept these terms on their behalf and take responsibility for their use of the game. We recommend reading through these terms once before your first session; they are written to be straightforward, not to trip you up.

Your account is personal to you and you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to another person, and using automation tools, bots, or scripts to play on your behalf violates these terms and will result in account suspension. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact support immediately — the earlier we know, the faster we can help protect your progress.

Loophole is built on competition and puzzle-solving, and the integrity of that experience depends on everyone playing by the same rules. Exploiting software bugs to gain an unfair advantage, manipulating matchmaking systems, or coordinating with other players to artificially inflate scores in ways the game does not intend are all prohibited. We monitor gameplay data for anomalies and reserve the right to investigate, warn, or permanently ban accounts that undermine fair play for the rest of the community.

Some versions of Loophole allow players to create and share custom maze layouts or in-game content with the community. When you submit content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and distribute it within the game and related promotional materials. You remain the creator, but you are responsible for ensuring your submissions do not infringe on anyone else's intellectual property or contain content that is harmful, offensive, or unlawful.

Everything that makes Loophole what it is — the world design, the loophole mechanics, the visual identity, the sound design, and the underlying code — is protected intellectual property. You are welcome to stream gameplay, create fan art, and write guides; in fact, we love when the community does that. What you may not do is reproduce, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the game itself or its assets in any commercial form without our written permission.

Loophole is a living game and we will update it regularly — new corridors, new mechanics, seasonal events, and balance changes are all part of the roadmap. Occasionally, these updates may require us to revise these Terms of Service as well. We will notify you of material changes via in-game notice or email, and continued use of Loophole after a change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

We work hard to keep Loophole online and running well, but like any live game, unexpected downtime, data sync issues, or bugs can occur. We are not liable for losses arising from service interruptions, loss of in-game progress due to technical failures, or actions taken by other players within the game world. Our total liability to you for any claim related to Loophole will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You may stop playing Loophole and delete your account at any time through the account settings menu. We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior toward other players, or where required by applicable law. Upon termination, your license to use the game ends immediately, and we will handle your personal data in accordance with our Data Policy.
